More Space Dragons, yay!

Cosmic Survivors is the sequel to Luxorian's Crew. Like the first novella, the second volume explores topics of empathy, found family, diversity. This time, Luxorian and their crew have to deal with the "Cosmic Defenders", sort of space sheriffs who on the one hand fight the horrors lurking in the shadows of space, but on the other behave arrogant and authoritarian. I like how this novella shows us more of the setting. It keeps some questions from the first installment burning in the background while revealing more about Luxorian's family, and about the crew members. I'm glad the author mentioned plans to continue the series.
