Very interesting book. Much more to say later. Quick recommendation: Thompson seeks a middle ground between technology enthusiasts who believe that computers and the net can solve every human problem by themselves and critics who think we're giving up control to our machines. He winds up on the sunnier side, but offers some cautionary tales as well.
