Bolander takes from history harsh lessons of unspeakable cruelty to both animals and women, both equally mistreated by those who see them as nothing but a means to a profitable end, to spin a tale of unforgettable cruelty and terrible vengeance. Break out the tissues for this one, friends (or maybe just keep a stiff drink at hand).
