This was a solid start to a series. I quite liked Whyborne (who wouldn't like someone who spoke 13 languages and read more) and am looking forward to reading more about him in the coming books. I am not sure if I will continue on reading all the rest of the books in the series but I am looking forward to reading the next book.

I want to know more about the paranormal side of the world in Widdershins as what they have laid out is just a tiny bit of it in this particular book.
