The book takes place in the aftermath of the protagonists getting drunk married and not remembering marrying or why they married. I don’t think characters in fiction have to behave responsibly at all times but it could be triggering for some folks.

As Pam and Kim try to decide what to do, the story of how they got there is revealed along with the nature of their most recent relationships.

Wasn’t expecting the book to end in bittersweet tears. Loved the journey. Cried at the end.

Given the caveats, it’s a strong recommend as a relatively short read.

Truly amazing as an audiobook

I'm sure it's great in text too but hearing Andrew J. Robinson read / perform the book he wrote is excellent. Do wish it had been a little more obviously queer, though. I feel the hand of the studio on that one.

I'm having so much fun with the audio book of this. Andrew not only knows his character incredibly well but he constructs his story with a deft hand.

Even though I watched a review of the book from Renegade Cuts ( www.youtube.com/watch?v=DrDA8in8_30 ) and I've read every Calvin and Hobbes comic, I wasn't entirely sure what to expect. This was a lot of fun. It had a middle I didn't expect and an end I didn't expect either.
