@Montag I drop that reading. How did you find it?

@Sproid I enjoyed it. It's nice to have a positive attitude towards climate issues once in a while. It brings up a lot of difficult questions for me (see spoilers below).
My main concern is that I don't actually know much about environmental science, so I can't say how reasonable it all is. The little that I do know about (blockchain-based social media) sounds like such a terrible idea that I'm suspicious of everything else.

@Montag "... If that's the only way to stop destruction, is it justifiable? I don't have an answer.". The rich and people in power create change with the laws.. because they make the laws. The poor create change by protest or riots. When the question is about survival then is not about right or wrong.

@Sproid Where do you draw the line? Middle-class people in rich countries have far more power and are far more destructive to the world than their counterparts in least developed countries. Would you approve of blowing up the Atlanta Airport at its most crowded? Poisoning the water supply in Berlin? Exploding a nuclear bomb in London?

@Montag Those are great questions. My comment is an observation of the phenomenon. I think the book served its purpose to elicit these questions and dialog.
