this is a book that I just couldn't finish. I wasn't interested and the plot didn't make it any better. usually if the plot is boring as fuck, then I resort to the characters. unfortunately, even the characters were a reason why I didn't want to finish it.

I felt like tyen and rielle were too busy analyzing everything to a capital T that I just got so frustrated with them. they want to follow the rules and try to make everything neutral. however, I felt like whatever they were doing was more of a hassle than it needed to be.

I liked the world building of the book, but i felt like these were to separate books placed into one. I wanted to read more to see if there was a reason for these two to even have separate stories, but i got so bored and reading it got tedious.

all in all, it was a full and boring book that I just couldn't finish at all.
