Joe R. Lansdale: HP Lovecrafts the Dunwich Horror (2012, IDW Publishing)

None

Nothing really special. As described, the titular horror seems kinda goofy, and Lovecraft tries way too hard to sell the terror and madness of the events. I know that's his schtick, breathlessly throwing a thesaurus at the reader, and taking purple prose to unheard of heights, but I think it just doesn't work for me.

I like his ideas, just not his execution.
