I'm a 40something year old reader who likes mostly fantasy fiction, but can wander off into other fields on occasion. I've been a bookworm my whole life, and I tell my kids and anyone else who'll listen that 1, reading is never a waste of time, no matter what you're reading, [this in response to those who tell me I should only read nonfiction], and 2, if you're a reader you're never bored. Book limbo, however, is often a thing for me. I'd got a tun of stuff to read, but don't feel like reading any of it.

This was a really good read. I pretty much inhaled it. I liked that fact that it was a story in and of itself which lent history and context to, but was not dependent on the Hunger Games.

Review of 'Michelle Sagara Chronicles of Elantra Vol 4' on 'Goodreads'

Loved this. I think it dragged a little in the middle, but not enough to affect my rating. By the way, the glass dragon steals every scene he's in.

Loved this! It was seriously one of the funnest and funniest things I've ever read. Highly recommended to people who enjoy learning about and playing with language.

Loved this, even more than Vox. I found the premise somewhat more understandable, and found the main character's plight heartbreaking.

Took me a couple of years to get to this, and I'm not sure why. This was as enjoyable as the other books in this series. Highly recommended!

This book was okay, it continued the series nicely. Not the best thing I've read lately, but good enough to keep me reading. Not sure why the lack luster review, except that the pace of these is slow, and if you were to ask me what the plot was I'd have trouble telling you. It's very episodic.

Katherine Kurtz: In the King's Service (2004, Ace)

In this first book of an all-new Deryni trilogy, New York Times bestselling author Katherine …

This book was enjoyable, and good enough for me to keep reading the series. However, the plot was slow, and the climax? anticlimactic. Good for what it was, and I enjoyed it, but I can understand those who found it boring.
