Hoboy, where to begin?

These are objectively not good books. I read them all in a week though, so something about them is compelling to me.

But like...five books in, and we're just now getting physical descriptions of these characters? And then there's Jimmy.

If you don't think it's a problem that he's described as dark-skinned, and he's also a conman shacking up with a hooker, whose son is trying to pimp out his nine-year-old sister, then I dunno what to tell you.

And then there's the underlying worldbuilding issue of, "the Others are indigenous to fantasy America, but most of them are white because of reasons."
