Completely forgettable. I wanted to like this because I love Jim Butcher, but I simply can't get into his non-Dresden books. I feel like he's at his best with a single narrator, limited perspective; when he gets into multiple POV, it falls apart. The characters all sound the same, and so much of the book is taken up with worldbuilding that it loses the plot (a common complaint I have with steampunk in general. Such aesthetic, but so many bland books come out of that movement).
