Daniel finished reading Inversions by Iain M. Banks (Culture, #6)
Bit of an odd story, this. We, the readers, are expected to infer a number of facts which the narrators never themselves understand, and tie together a story from two broken halves. Maybe not entirely successful but a really interesting effort.
