Review of 'Day of the Triffids' on 'Goodreads'

This is one I end up reading every five or so years. The opening line is one of my favorites and the idea of'thinking' plants has always fascinated me. I like that the triffid problem remains unresolved, and I, like the main character, keep trying to think of a lasting solution to such a problem.
