Good book and enjoyed the story. Now I really want to see Captain Lorca Prime in action. Whether on Discovery or some other show. This book gives more details in the Commander Georgieau and Lt Command Lorca. Where the backdrop is Tarus IV prime Kirk's first colony homeworld, and serves as a deeper look into who Kodos the Executioner is.
Fun story and great to see a young pre-teen Kirk still being the cowboy that he is.
