This is an interesting idea, and it is so twisted into something that I wouldn't believe is possible is even better. I can't wait to read Vol 2. And I do hope that they are continuing the series beyond Vol 1 & 2. That's all based on just the first volume.

It is very interesting, though not new, for characters to break out of their universes and panes to talk to the reader. It makes the book funnier and quirkier than most. It also brings in a bit of intimacy that this book delivers. Because it's not just about sex but about love and understanding between two people that have a connection. At first both believe that they are the only ones, and then to realize that they do have someone else that can do what they can. To realizing they are not as unique as believed and that there is an entire culture they know nothing about but are nevertheless a part of. This is truly a unique book and story.
