Review of 'Redemption ark' on 'Goodreads'

4 stars

Once again, I'm consuming this via the Audible audio version, oh so very ably voiced by John Lee who perfectly encapsulates the world weary, snitty characters that inhabit the worlds of Redemption Ark. Reynolds plots really take the long view and it was very enjoyable to see Easter eggs planted in Revelation Space and Chasm City being picked up in this next chapter. There is so much happening in this novel, and indeed the whole series, it feels like something I'll listen to again and again over the years - which is also how I feel about BBC Radio 4s beautiful adaptation of Isaac Asimov's The Foundation Trilogy.
