Review of 'Turtle moon' on 'Goodreads'

After having read several of Hoffman's books now, they're starting to feel a bit formulaic. Some of the over-the-top "month of May" language got a bit tedious, and some of the threads of this book felt messy. The amateur investigation launched by one of the characters felt a bit half-assed. But this book was a quick, enjoyable read with lovely language and engrossing environments. Not my favorite Hoffman novel, but still worthwhile.
