I honestly was disappointed. Not sure what I expected, this being the first Gaiman book I've read, but this story just was not very compelling to me. Gaiman seemed very pleased with his ability to reference gods and mythology in every aspect of the novel, but it came at the expense of creating interesting characters or a clear plot line. I didn't read the Epilogue because I lost the book while traveling, but I feel like I got enough without needing to know the very end.
