Sean Faircloth: Attack of the theocrats! (2012, Pitchstone Pub.)

Lots of points well-made. Suffers from a little repetition and a slightly hectoring style which comes across more in the author's audiobook narration.

Albert Pike: MORALS and DOGMA of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry (Paperback, 2007, NuVision Publications)

Review of 'MORALS and DOGMA of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry' on 'Goodreads'

Unreadably dry, partially plagiarised. Has value, I suppose, among AASR masons as a reference work for the degrees it covers. Among the big and "difficult" books I have attempted to read I've made more progress in "Ulysses" and "In Search of Lost Time" than in this turgid tome.

Marcus Brigstocke: God collar (2011, Bantam Press)

Review of 'God collar' on 'Goodreads'

Amusing and articulate rant at some easy targets. A little too self-deprecating at times and not clear what the goal of the book is, except to let off steam at the absurdities of organised religion. Still, worth a listen to the audiobook where it comes over more like the stand up routine it originally was.
