Lots of points well-made. Suffers from a little repetition and a slightly hectoring style which comes across more in the author's audiobook narration.

Unreadably dry, partially plagiarised. Has value, I suppose, among AASR masons as a reference work for the degrees it covers. Among the big and "difficult" books I have attempted to read I've made more progress in "Ulysses" and "In Search of Lost Time" than in this turgid tome.

Amusing and articulate rant at some easy targets. A little too self-deprecating at times and not clear what the goal of the book is, except to let off steam at the absurdities of organised religion. Still, worth a listen to the audiobook where it comes over more like the stand up routine it originally was.
