Matthew Campbell finished reading The Dichotomy of Leadership by Jocko Willink
I didn't love this one as much as Extreme Ownership. In some ways, this felt less actionable, where the first book was basically "it's always you're fault, you have agency, go in this direction", this book is more a cautionary tale of balance. I like the message, but the book never really gives you a recipe to do this. Instead of a clear direction, a vector to follow no matter what, you end up with many examples of having gone too far in one direction and having to rein it back. Still some valuable ideas in here, but I'm not sure what I'll do with this one.
