I enjoyed reading this. The mystery and drama was fun. There were some moments that felt like edgy fan fiction, but those were few and far between. The book felt pretty short, but that is probably just because I'm used to really long stories. It's also part of a series, so I can compare this to the first ark of a longer story in which case it has a fine length.
