I've only just begun reading books this year after having refused to read anything outside of mandatory reading for school my entire life. I'm excited to explore the world of books and find what I like. I tend to enjoy world building, adventure, fantasy, and comedy in other media, so I assume my taste will be similar in regards to books.

It was an enjoyable read. It wasn't much of an exploration of consciousness like the title suggests. It was more the story of the author discovering her love of octopuses. An audacious revision of …

To be honest I didn't really understand this one. It felt like a lot was going on and I had a hard time keeping track of it all. There were quite a few story lines that were fun, but I felt like they often got cut off too soon to move on to something else, but that might just be because I'm used to a long main story.
