Autant 2033 avait un côté presque fantastique, et 2034 ressemblait plus à un huis clos, autant 2035 est un roman politique. C'est surprenant mais au final ça permet de relire les événements du premier tome de manière différente, rendant certaines factions moins caricaturales. La comparaison avec le système politique russe (avant 2021) est glaçante, et après lecture je ne suis pas étonné que l'auteur soit désormais en exil.
