@DerekCaelin@bookwyrm.social I have got to get around to this one this year; people have been recommending it to me for ages, and I'm not actually a huge fan of the other Le Guin stuff I've read (I mean, she's a brilliant writer, don't get me wrong, none of it was bad, it just didn't really catch my fancy, but everyone tells me this is the one and I just haven't gotten around to it)

I vaguely remember that I got this from the library before and couldn't read it; something about the language the author used bothered me a lot. But I don't remember the specifics and more people recommending it so maybe I was wrong and I need to try again.
