Verglas finished reading Paladin's Faith by T. Kingfisher (The Saint of Steel, #4)

It was about Shane, the only remaining of the single male Paladins. He again was basically the same character as the male protagonists of the previous books. And of course the characterization is in many ways problematic. This in itself is not so much a problem if it's one book that describes a particular person. Some people are just a bit problematic. But this author clearly fantasizes about one specific version of somewhat problematic masculinity and this makes reading the books annoying.
Story itself was still just easy to read popcorn/bubblegum fantasy and is interesting enough.
