Notably, I'm about 10% into it, and the main character is witnessing a classroom discussion about the genocide of a small island nation, and ruminating to herself whether or not her own country was complicit in that genocide, which was known to be committed by that country's enemy, given that the massacre precipitated the entrance into the war of a third party, which benefited her country.
