Keeyootsee-wootsee fantasy, but the only chicklit novel I have read with two separate mentions in separate scenes in the 21st century of S.J. Perelman, a long-dead author whom I 'follow' on Goodreads, more than once.
I did like it, despite not being the target reader, for who can resist a smart, sarcastic, anxious, introverted, bookish trivia maven whose Sisyphean labors are found in a Bullet Journal?

I was waffling on how to rate this in ⭐ (something I like about Litsy is lack of ⭐), when I reviewed the 8 (!) quotes I tagged and transcribed while reading with my ears. That's a pretty good sign for fiction—quotes I don't want to forget because they charmed me, made me laugh, made me think, or whatever. (I tend to do lots of tagging in nonfiction.)

So, I'm a fan. I felt kinship with several characters, and reading this made me generally happy.
