4 stars

A wonderful sci fi story that explores different points of view on sentience and life, as well as a strong environmentalist message on preserving the natural world, not because animals are inherently good, or our property, or that humans are inherently bad by our sentience, but because animals are our brothers in existence, and we can pave the way to the stars for them and us.
