Back to form after the re-telling of book 3 in Zoe's Tale, Scalzi expands on the universe in Old Man's War with new characters and plenty of intrigue. Though the story's far from over - the book ends without answering its biggest question - it's as engrossing a read as the previous books in this series. I continue to love the expansive nature of the worlds he's created, and love how much humor and drama there is throughout. Thoroughly enjoyable read. Can't wait for book 6 in August!
