I chose this as I wanted to sample some Stuart Palmer (I watched some of his Hildegarde Withers mysteries adapted for the screen) and some Frances and Richard Lockridge. Stories ranged from strange and wild to improbable and kooky but I enjoyed reading all of them. Thank you, Otto Penzler!
