Review of 'Not the End of the World' on 'Goodreads'

I was happy to find Kate Atkinson's short story collection in the library. The blurb "clever, funny and offbeat" convinced me to give this a read. Like David Mitchell's Cloud Atlas the stories link characters and motif items. I didn't finish this, but that's not entirely due to the quality, but largely to my mood -- the stories have endings, I'd had too many endings as of late, and the title was overweighted with irony.
