I've written a few people about this book, so it must be a five-star. It's definitely fast-paced, and the usual elements of a Carl Hiaasen novel are well-represented: Florida environment issues, scam-on-the-brain characters, sex-on-the-brain characters, "Florida man stereotypes" steaming turds of flesh get what's coming to them.
I feel I better understand some subcultures I've had little contact with.
