A nice lightweight read

This was an intriguing little story, but I felt it lacked the warmth and intensity of her other books.

I absolutely LOVED this book. I was a little skeptical about the first book but I decided to give this one a go as I knew setting up a whole world and 2 different cultures would make a book a bit tedious. but I loved Damikos and Varazda in that book. There was a mystery in this book but that played second fiddle to the relationship between the MC's and I appreciated seeing that. I am definitely looking forward to the conclusion of their story in the next book.
