As far as warnings go, besides frank talk about sex there is only one page in the consent book that involves a diagram of disembodied body parts that might be involved in different kinds of sex. As a series for young people potentially just discovering sexuality and gender, everything is pretty light and fluffy (especially visually) while still covering a lot of nuance. Thing are covered in a way that strips down a lot of the intensity, stigma, and fear often tied into puberty.

About sex, rather then necessarily sexuality, this book did include a lot of diverse representation when it came to different kinds of gender (across the spectrum), sexuality, and race. I would have been interested in more body diversity and disability representation, but there was some of each, and disability …
