Literally Graphic reviewed Batgirl by Gail Simone (Batgirl (2011), #5)

An epic conclusion to what is now my favorite superhero series! Despite some random issues thrown in (because superhero comics!) I still found myself sucked all the way into the main story! Unable to finish any sentience of this review without an exclamation point!
The art in this comic continues to be pretty solid IMHO. Gone are the days of glowing radioactive looking steam and bright blue sewage water that looked like it belonged in the Bahamas! No more F Me NOW camel toe! No vacuformed boob cases! Every once in a while something felt a bit off proportionally, especially in the faces, but I've seen a lot worse.

As far as the writing goes, I could not have asked for a more satisfying ending! Female friendship has been an ongoing theme throughout Simon's entire series and this volume is no exception! Our grand finale is brought to us almost exclusively by the ladies and boy do they kick ass doing it! I will admit the sudden addition of huntress was a bit convenient, but as a fan still going through Birds of Prey withdrawal I'm not complaining.
Even the side stories weren't too bad. The concluding story about Batgirl training under Bain was somehow even more kickass then the main story line itself. I don't think I've ever seen another woman be quite so unfeminine before in mainstream comics. And the story line itself was great in the way it took a lot of elements from men only comics and reinvented them through a female character.
