Literally Graphic reviewed Ballad of Nancy April by David A. Robertson

Perhaps my favourite of the series thus far, although favourite certainly feels like the wrong word. Personally, I really felt like this particular volume expanded my own understanding of colonialism - namely the fact that people were exported from Turtle Island back to Europe not only as curiosities (horrendous) but also as part of a slave economy. The entire series is well worth reading, although it is very obviously geared towards children. Certainly something that takes a lot of skill, but something that is a bit of a turn off to those of us who are not in that demographic.
