I really enjoyed this melancholy short story[*] by Nadine Tabing about a caregiver tending to a robot who is failing. The story is short, but it touched a lot of feelings for me: struggling against the world moving past you, capitalism (always capitalism), and hoarding memories as a way to hold on to self-meaning. (This last hits particularly home for me as a chronic journaller and data packrat.)
