Powerful and enjoyable even on the second reread.
i thought the book was interesting and didn't really know much about it. i actually like it.
at first, the first few chapters were a bit slow and boring, but the book began to start to pick up that i began to finish it within like two days. the real world melted away and i was transported into this book, which is a rarity in itself for me.
the only problem i have is that i wish i got to know the characters a little more. some of the names confused me and i think it's because i was also reading another russian book. the names sort of confused me until i began to sort out who was who. i still wish to know more about the characters and more of the fairytales. but, what's just me.
