SUMMER 1977. The Blyton Summer Detective Club (of Blyton Hills, a small mining town in Oregon's Zoinx River Valley) solved their final mystery and unmasked the elusive Sleepy Lake monster--another low-life fortune hunter trying to get his dirty hands on the legendary riches hidden in Deboën Mansion. I love Scooby-Doo and here is an unauthorized version that marries some different horror tropes with the Scooby-Doo. The names have been changed and the ages of the kids is different than anything from Scooby-Doo (I ignore the young kids version of SD on purpose).

These kids are now adults and their last case was the one that messed them up. They return as adults to finally deal exactly what happen all those years ago.

There is so much that I love about this, but the best one, this is NOT Scooby-Doo but taking all the best elements of it, and making something at once familiar yet completely different. I'm now a fan f the Blyton Summer Detective Club!

Now, I have to wait for book 2....if there is a book 2.
