Well Researched and Written

I would have given the book 5 stars if I was fascinated by the subject matter, but near the end, I realized I wasn't that invested, mainly because I had started reading the book years after the height of the #MeToo movement and already knew what happened to Weinstein. Overall, it thoroughly documents frustrating injustices with good prose.

À quoi peuvent servir les mathématiques pour résister à la confusion ambiante des idées ? …

Un petit livre qui zigzague sciemment entre mathématiques, souvenirs politiques parfois impressionnants (Michel Broué a joué un grand rôle dans la libération de prisonniers politiques scientifiques), coups de gueule souvent touchants (pour #Metoo et Mediapart, contre l'islamophobie, Allègre et Raoult). La plume est plutôt vive et rend bien compte du ton et des engagements de celui qu'un article de Libé (ou était-ce Le Monde?) qualifiait, dans les années 90, de « sympathique moustachu ».
