Suspenseful, fun, moments of wit, lots of adventure! Good read for maybe 12 and up, easily enjoyed by adults as well as younger readers.

Two or three mysteriously placed unneeded "gods d~" (little g plural...) spoken near the beginning, real danger and death, but nothing graphic or offensive. Far less scary than some of the Harry Potter books. Vaguely Greek/Roman pantheon sort of religion.
