This would have been a great airplane read. Not too long, moves pretty quickly. Easy to read even if you don't understand the physics, but it might help if you were familiar with some of the theories that have circulated in last decade or so. Classified science fiction, but the focus is on the characters and the philosophical implications of the science concepts, so I could even recommend it to those who don't usually read science fiction.
