Audiobook is great!

4 stars

If you can, listen to the audiobook for this one. It really feels like you're just sitting in a room with Anna while she's telling you about her life. I'm always wary of celebrities reading their own books due to so many reading like a monotonous professor at a 4am class. This is not like that at all.

Before Into the Woods, I had no idea that Anna had been on Broadway, so I learned a lot about her life and the starting of her career at a young age. She weaves her humor through the book along with some serious topics/moments and it works very well. There's a surprisingly great balance between the two so you don't feel like she's just trying to make a funny book or trying to make you pity her.

Overall this is one of the first biographies by a comedian that I actually truly enjoyed.
