A really beautiful manga in a lot of ways, this story had the potential to be even higher rated for me but it came across as extremely jumpy. Almost every other page I felt like I had missed one or two pages of the story, sometimes this happened every few panels! It was really a testament to the quality of the manga otherwise that I still really enjoyed the characters and will be picking up at least the second volume to see how things go.

Even as an decently educated Manga reader I found the essay in the back on gendered language to be extremely interesting.
