As someone currently studying IT (Software Devleopment major) while simultaneously developing a strong dislike for technology this was something I really needed to read. Not only did this book go into the effects of technology use and in particular social media on an individual level but a global one. Furthermore, actual solutions (albeit optimistic) were offered to incite systemic change.
