Overall, an enjoyable read. I love stories that show war/conflict from different angles, and this one is great because it shows us WWI (on the Allied side) from the POV of two young American women who volunteer to serve in the British Expeditionary Force on the Western Front. At times, the story had a bit of a Lifetime-movie feel to it, but I didn't end up minding too much because it softened the edges of a story that could have been rather gutting given the context.

Interesting but needed better editing

One of only a couple books written about the Windover site, the book was interesting from a content standpoint but editing issues were a bit distracting.
