Well, this book at least broke my “readers block” As I’m a big fan of the series, it was enjoyable. It fills in some gaps that existed from the first book, which is always fun. One of the fun elements of this series is that continually the writer has been suggesting or mentioning previous adventures that had not been written and then as time goes by they kind of get filled in sometimes. Having said that If you haven’t previously read any of the Vlad Taltos books, I definitely could not recommend starting here at all. You absolutely have to know the character is pretty well. Anyways, an enjoyable read
