Surprisingly chill

We were a little hesitant to check out MBSR (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction) because come on, it's an acronym, it has to be very formalised and check-list-y, the exact opposite of things we feel comfortable having around our mind. Turns out it's not. Jon Kabat-Zinn is pretty chill. Also, the guided meditations in this were very helpful and left enough space to actually practice awareness and not just.... do whatever the voice says, which we also like, buuut.
