I was not excited about this book but it was much more helpful than I expected. If our child is a girl, I want to have a naming ceremony, but worried all the ceremonies would feel fake and new and made up. This book helped me understand why I felt that way, and start to think about what would feel like an authentic way to welcome a Jewish baby girl. Highly recommend!
