Dirk Deimeke reviewed Ich denke, also irre ich by Daniel Kahneman
Review of 'Schnelles Denken, langsames Denken' on 'Goodreads'
4 stars
Das Buch ist inhaltlich super, aber über weite Teile sehr trocken.
Kahneman introduces two modes of thought - system 1, fast and intuitive, and system 2, slow and reasoned - and explores how these modes effect behavior, particularly judgement and decision making.

Interesting research, but his conclusions are kind of suspect. He ignores the experiences of people who are not like himself. Like when he uses the phrase “except for the poor”
Also he appears to ignore neurodivergent experience.
Fantastic research, valuable mental models with political, social, and life implications.
A good book on how we as humans think and the problems we get into when we use our fast brain for slow tasks and our slow brain for fast tasks.
